Bible Reading FAIL
Well, I need to publicly admit my total failure to follow the “Through the Bible in 90 Days” plan I mentioned back in December. I apparently underestimated the time that reading 12 -15 chapters of scripture requires each day. Despite two attempted re-starts, I finally surrendered.

Houston's Increasing Tree Loss
The Center for Houston’s Future reports on the continuing disappearance of the region’s trees, mostly from sprawling new development:
“The total loss of tree canopy in the greater Houston region between 1992 and 2005 is 680 square miles. This loss equates roughly to the physical size of the city of Houston, and since 2005, tree loss has continued.
